The house formerly had a separate dining room, kitchen and ground floor bathroom off the kitchen. Access to the overgrown garden was through a dank corridor as you past the ground floor (and only) bathroom. We opened up the space, reducing the footprint of the bathroom to leave a contemporary wc/wetroom. Adding roof lights and bi-fold doors improved the levels of natural light in the space as well as providing a vista from the far end of the kitchen, through the dining space and out into the re-landscaped garden.
