The project was designed for a newly wed couple in their late 20s. They asked for an industrial space where they would simply lay back comfortably and relax and party and enjoy themselves.
This is the view from the entrance. The couple loves having people over for dinner and drinks and each time says "come back" with a warm smile on their face.
The project was designed for a newly wed couple in their late 20s. They have both studied abroad and wanted the industrial New York vibe in their home. Being comfortable was the number one input. So we ended up with the navy sectional big enough for 6 people to sit and chat. The over-sized beige arm chairs are used to brake the masculin overall look. The barrel in the corner - an original mariachi barrel - is salvaged from a pub. The glass-metal side tables are multifunctional, used for dining or computers when it is time to work.
Our favorite part is the quote on the wall. Life. limited for one (1) person only..
The house has a open kitchen and a limited living room, so there was no room for a proper dining table and chairs. Instead we transferred the adjusting winter garden into dining room/study. This metal-glass table helped us to carry the industrial vibe of the house. The glass top made the table look even lighter than it is. We tried to brake the cold of metal with the straw chairs.
We completed the walls with different topographies.
