Troya Museum was developed for the
national competition. The project area is situated in the real historical
territory of Troya, 30 km from the Turkish city Chanakkale.
A feature of this place is that in the open air is situated a lot of excavations and discovered artifacts .
Therefore, we came up with a tower, which by its architectural style similar with Troyan towers. At each level, of 5 floor tower is situated an open terrace, which allows us to consider the exhibits in the open air from different angles. This solution makes it possible to see all the excavations and archaeological finds in the complex. This is an advantage in this kind of museums. Also roof of the tower is covered with grass for a more comfortable walking.
Under ground the are 2 floors, which presents different exhibits of archaeological excavations. Thus, such underground museum brings visitors to the real Troya, which, after thousands years also was founded underground.
For building were used materials such as metal and stone.
