Hence, the living room is a public room which will give guests an impression of your home. This is why interior designers spend a lot of time and effort creating the ideal living room. The living room is also a place where you watch television with family and friends, or perhaps take a nap in the afternoon. Today we will take a tour of a living room from the future. Well, at least the contemporary design of the living room seems futuristic. This living room is designed by Abb Design Studio, interior architects in Ankara, Turkey. You will see certain continuations or themes repeated in this living room, and it's fun to see how it is done. We hope you will get some new and interesting ideas through this tour.
The sleek design of this living room is quite rare, hence making it unique. Dark grey walls with black accents strike the perfect balance with the light colored off white tiles used for the floor. The bright green sofa adds a splash of vibrant color to the living room, making it trendy and stylish. Here we can see that the bright green is repeated on a small part of the wall next to the television, and then the green is continued on the floor as if it were a shadow. The wall is further highlighted with framed posters.
The fireplace pictured here is a fireplace like no other. Interesting angles and slopes create geometrical shapes that act as frames for the shelves. The black lines that define the shelves and the fireplace are continued even on the floor. The design of this living room which sees certain continuations like the black lines and the bright green from the sofa gives the living room a wholesome feeling.
The retro style red armchair with its matching foot rest creates a nice contrast with the bright green. This gives the living room a funky, trendy feel that feels fresh and invigorating.
Pictured here, we see the living room being personalised. A wall of photographs featuring family photos brings warmth to the living room while personalizing it as well. Black and white photos add a classic touch to the grey wall. We can also see a bit of the patterned fake ceiling illuminated here.
